Pretty pink glittery blue and white ballet shoes

Prints and original watercolour artwork of pretty blue and white ballet shoes with a smattering of glitter on the toes.
I am busy painting more blue and white urns presently but I had to paint some shoes while the fashion bug hit. Besides, it was fun.

Pretty pink glittery fashion flats

Finally I have finished the gorgeously cute glittery pink ballet flats. They have been painted in watercolour with the shoes painted in hand applied opalescent glitter. To top it off the bow has been painted using this wonderful opalescent watercolour paint the lady at the artshop seriously talked me into purchasing.

The photos do not do the artwork justice. My daughter has it in her room and it looks amazing but it could easily go into any room. It is fashionably cute.

They are available as prints worldwide through here in various sizes, cards, canvases etc OR through here if you are within Australia. If you wish to purchase

within Australia) click

Vintage bathing cap collages

It feels like I have been working on these bathing caps for ever!
The thought process has been there for a long time anyhow...
These collaged bathing caps are framed in sturdy 10 x 8 inch (matting window) shadow boxes.
All caps are 3d and the paper used has been individually textile designed for the specific bathing cap apart from the red spotted one which is flocked paper (feels like felt).
I have already sold three and friends have felt the pictures don't do them justice.
I will be uploading these to my store in the next few days.

Cute vintage swim suit artwork

Check out my latest prints.
They are watercolour reproductions of 1950s vintage swimsuits.
I really enjoyed painting them.
The originals will have pride of place in my daughter's room who wanted something a little more grown up.

and another blue and white...

I finally got my act into gear today when another lovely lady purchased some more of my blue and white ming jar and urn prints.
Right! Start loading all the prints you've had sitting there and finish off those half started watercolour paintings of 'shoes.' I do love painting shoes. I use to sell framed prints of shoes and boots nationally about eleven years ago. Funky ones, platforms, boots, etc. I even tried my hand as a shoe designer for a now defunct well known clothing brand. Won't go there..
Stay tuned for some shoes...
In the meantime, another blue and white limited edition...
You can check more of these prints out at my store

Jars of...

Don't these jars of paints and pencils just want to make you get out the paint and brushes and get creative or at least display them in a corner of your art studio - if you actually had one again.

Circle in a circle

The little collage above was very fun to make.
I have had it awhile and kind of reluctantly put it into my store.
Even though it doesn't look it, it was quite involved to make. It has cut-outs and peep holes and layering etc. It is a mixed medium of old vintage 1920s encylopedia paper, graphics using Illustrator, print and other paper. It's called a 'circle in a circle' and shows clocks etc. It should have been photographed with an old clock but I didn't have one. This artwork is definately a one off original.

Pretty ballerina prints

As promised here are some pretty ballerina prints I have been working on.
I think they look lovely grouped together.
I have used designer paper - layer upon layer in the circle cutouts and in a couple of the prints used early 1900s vintage book paper.

Little soldier print

I thought I would just show you the beginnings of what's going into my art store.
I am finally starting to frame bits and pieces that I have been working on over the past year.
This little embellished print of three royal guards sits in an 10 inch x 8 inch shadow box frame.
They have little gold beaded buttons and lovely fluffy black hats.
I hope to upload him to my gallery store tomorrow along with some lovely tactile ballerinas.
