Chinoiserie blue and white cushions

Apologies…

It’s been a really long time between posts. I do apologise.

I’m afraid I use Instagram more as an update for what’s been happening with Sprout Gallery.

However, to keep you in the loop, Sprout Gallery - in late 2017 - launched a small range of textiles into the NEW online store. This range will keep growing.

At the moment we have a beautiful range of designer blue and white chinoiserie ‘hero’ cushions featuring designs from original paintings. Cushions are beautiful 100% Indian cotton and great quality. More features on the cushions can be found at this link.

Check out our new website which we also launched in November 2017 hence the reason we were so quiet. 

We are back now and promise to keep you up to date.

Old designer suitcases and hat boxes...

There is something very timeless about the Louis Vuitton signature patterned trunks, suitcases and hat boxes.

I've always loved old suitcases and trunks.

My grandmother travelled all over the world in the 1920s and she had many interesting suitcases and luggage pieces - my favourite the old metal trunks. In these large suitcases were my grandmother's, grandfather's and my Dad's few possessions. Reminders of a life they were leaving behind in England to start a new life in Australia in the 1950s.

Their travelling trunks weren't of course Louis Vuitton suitcases but they were fascinating and just as beautiful all the same.
